We introduce our WATSU session conducted one-on-one with a professional licensed therapist. Free yourself from gravity as you float in the water, and let the WATSU rhythm help you take slow, deep, soothing breaths for　profound relaxation.
The therapist gently supports your body in the water while performing the treatment. Assistive devices such as pillows and noodles (floats for your legs) give you a sense of floating in the open, unconstrained space of water.

Take your first step into the experience of freeing your body in water.
Our 30-minute WATSU session is held once a month on a special day, coinciding with the full moon or new moon.

The experience has no form, like the reflection of the moon in the water.
Sessions are short but bring about deep tranquility and lingering sensations.
Full moon sessions are about letting go, while new moon sessions focus on rebirth.

Surrender your body to the flow of water that gently coaxes you to focus on your breathing and senses.
Free your body to the gentle swaying of WATSU, and let your consciousness and senses naturally unravel, returning you to your true self.

Satoko Akiya, Watsu Therapist

Ms. Akiya is a Watsu practitioner certified by WABA (Worldwide Aquatic Bodywork Association). She is a therapist affiliated with the OKINAWA Watsu Center in Okinawa and has experienced Watsu sessions abroad. Throughout her 10-year career, she has been working hard every day to make Watsu enjoyable for everyone, from children to older people, foreigners, and children and adults with disabilities. “The soothing pleasure of water is familiar to Japanese people because we have hot springs in ourculture. I hope that Watsu can help you restore your mind and body by relaxing your five senses in the water to provide even deeper, more exquisite relaxation.”

Cancellation Policy

100% of the total amount will be charged if canceled on the day of, 50% one day before, and 25% two to five days before your session. Please note that modifying the time on the day of your session will also be treated as a cancellation.

Notes:

Aqua Therapy (WATSU) is not a medical or quasi-medical practice for the purpose of treating ailments. Our treatment will not be performed if any of the following conditions apply:
・You are not feeling well or have a fever or infection.
・You have not fully recovered from external injuries such as fractures, major injuries, or burns, or six months have not passed since you had surgery.
・You have a middle ear infection.
・You are under the influence of alcohol.
・You are pregnant (and have not reached 20 weeks into the stable period of pregnancy).

Furthermore, if you are pregnant and have the following conditions, you will need permission from your physician to receive our treatment:
・You have been warned by a doctor to stay at rest.
・You are at risk of premature labor or miscarriage.
・You have irregular bleeding.
・You have been diagnosed with gestational hypertension, gestational diabetes, placenta previa, etc.
