Gymnastics classes taught by Athens Olympic gold medalist Naoya Tsukahara start on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. Classes are held regularly every Tuesday so that kids can make gymnastics a part of their extracurricular activities every month. Classes are also available separately to fit busy schedules, but as an incentive, monthly applications entitle participants to free use of the SORANO Hotel pool twice a month!
With direct instruction by a former Olympic gold medalist, learn correct forms and movements to prevent injuries. Gymnastics is the core of all kinds of sports. Getting accustomed to moving your body from an early age positively affects physical development.
Please apply early as we offer special benefits for applications made in August through the end of September.

Target age | From kindergarten age to sixth grade in elementary school (ages 4 to 12) ◆ Parents and guardians are welcome to participate but not required. |
Monthly fee (four times a month) | 11,000 yen (tax inclusive) per month ◆Special offer for monthly applications◆ Free use of the Sorano Hotel pool twice a month (one student and one guardian for a total of two users) ◆Notes about our incentive for monthly participation◆ ・Our pool is available for use for one hour from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. on the day of the gymnastics class. ・Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. (Children may not use our pool by themselves.) ・Please bring your own swimwear. |

Contents | ●Stretching Increase flexibility and prevent injuries by learning stretches used by a former Olympic gymnast. ●Simple gymnastics exercises Learn simple gym mat skills such as forward rolls and the bridge. These movements are useful in daily living as they help develop flexibility, strength, and balance. ●Back handspring Back handsprings not only offer experience with aerial movement but also helps develop a sense of balance by practicing the landing. |
