Our Policies to Ensure Your Comfort and Safety Living with COVID-19

In accordance with the Japanese government’s reclassification on May 8 of COVID-19 as a Class 5 disease from a Class 2 disease by the Infectious Disease Act, the SORANO HOTEL will also be easing our policies as below.
1.　Entrance & Lobby
  ・   The non-contact thermometer at the 2nd floor entrance will remain installed for guests to take their temperatures voluntarily. Hotel staff will continue to take their temperatures during both periods.
  ・ Hand sanitizers will remain installed for voluntary use by guests.
  ・ Guests can decide whether to wear masks when entering our facility. Hotel staff will continue to wear masks.
  ・ The sofa table at the lobby will continue to be thoroughly and frequently disinfected with alcohol.
  ・ Doors at the lobby and terrace side will continue to be opened for ventilation as necessary.
  ・ Social distancing will be done voluntarily.
  ・ Hand dryers in public restrooms will be available for use by guests.
   
2.　Restaurant & Bar
  ・   Seats will be provided taking social distancing into consideration.
  ・ Acrylic partitions installed on restaurant & bar tables will be completely removed.
  ・ Please rest assured as the restaurant is constantly ventilated by the air conditioning ventilation system. Additionally, at least two doors will be opened every hour for ventilation to let in fresh air.
  ・ Hand dryers in restaurant & bar restrooms will be available for use by guests.
   
Request for Our Guests:
  ・ Please refrain from visiting our hotel if you have cold symptoms (e.g., sneezing, coughing) or a fever.
3.　SORANO SPA
  ・   Acrylic partitions installed at the spa reception counter will be removed.
  ・ Guests can decide whether to wear masks. Instructors will continue to wear masks.
  ・ Please be advised that it may take some time for the booking system to be set up and be used on peak days and time periods.
  ・ All areas, including the Gym Studio will be constantly ventilated by the air conditioning ventilation system for your comfort.
  ・ At the Gym Studio, doors and windows will be opened for routine ventilation.
  ・ We will continue to avoid speaking loudly during lessons and making physical contact such as shaking hands.
・ Lockers will continue to be thoroughly disinfected and cleaned.
・ We will continue to install air purifiers equipped with high-concentration Plasmacluster technology that speedily cleans and purifies the air using airflow in the men’s and women’s changing rooms.
・ Rental items will be rented out upon thorough disinfection.
   
Requests for Our Guests:
・ Please refrain from visiting our hotel if you have cold symptoms (e.g., sneezing, coughing) or a fever.
・ Please continue to maintain distance between other guests at our lockers, indoor spa, nano-mist sauna, infinity pool, and poolside.
   
4.　During Your Stay
  ・   Acrylic partitions installed at the front counter and guest relations desk will be completely removed.
  ・ Based on guest requests, check-in and express check-out will be offered in guest rooms.
  ・ We will continue to ensure that contact between guests and staff is kept to a minimum during check-in and check-out.
  ・ We will continue to thoroughly disinfect high-touch surfaces in the guest rooms (e.g., doorknobs, electrical switch panels, air conditioning control panels, TV remote controls, telephones) with sodium hypochlorite.
  ・ All SORANO HOTEL guest rooms are equipped with ventilating air conditioning equipment and humidifying air purifiers for your comfort and peace of mind.
   
5.　Hotel staff
  ・   We will continue to thoroughly manage the health of all staff. (Mandatory temperature check when reporting to work / Report if temperature is 37℃ or higher)
  ・ Hotel suppliers and other partners are required to have their temperature checked. (Cannot enter our facility if temperature is 37℃ or higher)
  ・ We will implement frequent hand washing, disinfecting of fingers, and gargling during work.
  ・ Hotel staff have continued wearing face masks, but in August and September, staff will wear masks on a voluntary basis to prevent heatstroke and manage their health.
   
Thorough Hygiene Control at Our Facilities
  ・   We will continue to implement regular disinfection and cleaning and manage daily reports detailing implementation.
  ・ We will continue diligent alcohol disinfection of facility equipment.
